As you saw on the HOME page, after years of planning and hopeful wishes we have finally started the third floor.  This was done because we have totally run out of room to build a single new department in the existing space.
The hospital currently occupies about 40,000 sq ft.  About 1/8th of that space is allocated to in patient care.  The number of patients requiring over night admission has grown rapidly as the hospital continues to sign contracts with new insurance companies and the opening of the Emergency Department last

spring.
The new space is planned for in patient care.  In addition to increasing the number of beds available, space on the second floor will be available for growth into new areas of care or provide much needed additional treatment rooms.
The hospital has funding available for the scaffolding and forms needed to hold the rebar for the headers and the floor but will needadditional funding when the materials are purchased.
The estimated cost of construction is $206,000.00.
